DAF Direct

DAF Direct is a free web application that enables donors to initiate grant recommendations from their donor-advised fund (DAF) directly to the Living Lands Trust website. After a DAF grant recommendation has been approved, 100 percent of the funds transfer to the recommended nonprofit, with no administration or transaction fees for using the web application. DAF Direct’s mission is to support nonprofits by providing a cost-efficient and simple way for donors to give and nonprofits to receive grants.

Give Money or Other Assets

Cash gifts are the simplest way to support Living Lands Trust. Donations of other assets, like securities, stocks, life insurance, or valuables such as artwork, also may be given. Donors can direct their contributions to specific efforts, such as new land projects or for stewardship of specific places currently held by Living Lands, or they can be made for general support of Living Lands Trust.

Living Lands Trust is a public charity qualified under IRS Code section 501(c)(3), and gifts made in support of our work are tax-deductible.

Planned Giving

Planned gifts written into testamenatary wills and other estate documents are an excellent way to integrate financial planning with personal, family, and philanthropic goals. Planned gifts can often help define flexible paths and options for those who want to benefit Living Lands Trust in one's lifetime and as a part of their legacy to future generations. Planned giving options include such instruments as charitable bequests and devises, beneficiary designation on life insurance or retirement plans, life estates, charitable gift annuities, and charitable remaninder trusts.

Legacy Gift

A legacy gift is an extraordinary contribution that a Living Lands Trust holds across generations for the perpetual support of our work. The gift is invested using social and environmental guidelines and a portion of annual returns used to support Living Lands' operations. The principal maintains its value over time, so a donor knows that his/her gift will carry forward across generations.
