Mark Finser

RSF Social Finance Appointee

Mark was a founding member of the Board of New Resource Bank and served as Chairman until it was acquired by Amalgamated Bank in 2018. He now serves as director of the Board for Amalgamated Bank and its Trust Company. Mark started his career in social finance as a founder of RSF Social Finance. He served as president & CEO of RSF until 2007, during which time he led the growth of the organization’s assets up to $120 million. In 2007, he transitioned to Chairman of the Board of Trustees and served until 2018. As an active member of the social finance community, Mark has served on several boards, including B Lab and Gaia Herbs. Mark also works with high net-worth individuals and families to develop a strategy to align financial resources with personal values. As part of this work, Mark serves as an independent trustee for families and their multigenerational beneficiaries.
